We do not collect medical information or credit card information through our Website. We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it. Our Website may use forms in which you give us contact information (including your name, address, telephone number, and email address) so you can request information or support. We receive and store any information you enter on our Website, or give us in any other way, including through email, telephone, or other communications within our customer services department. Google Analytics

We may use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about the use of this Website, such as how often users visit the Website, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this Website. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this Website, rather than your name or other identifying information.

Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this Site. This cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google, Inc. The information generated by the cookie will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

We use the information received from Google Analytics only to improve services on this Website. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information.

Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this Site is restricted by the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this Site by disabling the Google Analytics cookie on your browser.

Cookies

We use cookies to collect information, for security purposes, to enable you to use the Website, to collect information regarding your preferences, to allow you to share content via social media when you are logged in to a particular platform, and to generally make the Website perform better. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Website or Service.

Social Media

Due to the nature of our therapeutic relationship and boundaries, we do not accept friend or contact requests from current or former clients on personal online social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). We believe that adding clients as friends or contacts on these sites can compromise your confidentiality and may also blur the boundaries of our therapeutic relationship. We keep an Instagram account and a Facebook page for our professional practice. You are welcome to view those accounts, but it is important to recognize the limits of confidentiality when following, commenting, or “liking” a post. The primary concern is your privacy. Please do not use messaging on social network sites to contact us. These sites are not secure and we may not read these messages in a timely fashion.

Links To Third-Party Sites

This Website and Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third-party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact me. If it’s discovered that a child under 18 has provided this Site with Personal Information, the information will be deleted immediately.

Transfer of Data Abroad

If you are visiting this Website from a country other than the country in which our servers are located, your communications with us may result in the transfer of information across international boundaries. By visiting this Website and communicating electronically with us, you consent to such transfers.

Compliance with Laws & Law Enforcement

We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal processes (including without limitation subpoenas), to protect our property and rights or the property and rights of a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we consider to be illegal or unethical. We will also share your information to the extent necessary to comply with ICANN's rules, regulations and policies. To the extent we are legally permitted to do so, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the event that we are required to provide your personal information to third parties as part of legal process.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes to this Privacy Policy and any other places we deem appropriate, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
